Your photos and videos never leave your phone. Every render, reframe and compression runs inside the app itself, using a copy of ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. There is no upload step, no server that sees your files, and no account to create. The rendering itself runs entirely on your device. The app does require an internet connection to run — that is how ads load and how a purchase is confirmed — but your photos and videos are never part of what travels.

Deleting the app deletes all of it. None of it is sent anywhere.
Bangr Mobile is free, and ads are what pay for it. Ads are served by Google AdMob, and appear once when you start a render — never while you are editing. Because ads are the only thing paying for the app, a connection is needed to begin. Removing ads removes the ad, but a connection is still needed briefly so the purchase can be confirmed with the App Store.
To show an ad, Google may collect an advertising identifier, coarse location inferred from your IP address, and information about your device. Google acts as an independent controller of that data. What they collect and why is described in Google's privacy policy.
On first use the app asks, through Apple's own prompt, whether Bangr Mobile may track you across other companies' apps and websites. Saying no is fine. You still get the app in full; the ads are simply less targeted. You can change the answer any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
A one-time purchase removes ads permanently. The payment is handled by Apple, and entitlement is managed for us by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase receipt so it can tell this app that the purchase exists. Neither we nor RevenueCat ever see your card details — Apple does not share them.
Because the purchase is tied to your Apple ID rather than to an account with us, Restore purchase brings it back on a new phone.
Bangr Mobile is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Since the app holds no personal data on any server of ours, there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. For the advertising data Google holds, use Google My Ad Center. To reset the identifier ads are tied to, turn off tracking for Bangr Mobile in iOS Settings.
